Zinc Sulphate Deficiency in Samba Paddy Cultivation

In Samba paddy cultivation, due to zinc deficiency, uneven crop growth can be observed within two to four weeks after transplanting. The tillers appear sparse, and the leaves lose their firmness, turn pale, and become brownish in color. This leads to delayed grain formation, ultimately affecting the yield. To correct this, 500 grams of zinc sulfate and 1 kilogram of urea should be mixed in 100 liters of water and sprayed foliar at 15-day intervals.
