For groundnut during the growth phase, 160 kilograms of gypsum per acre should be applied. Of this, 80 kilograms can be applied at the base initially. Later, during the crop's growth phase, when the second plucking occurs after 40 to 45 days, apply an additional 80 kilograms of gypsum and thoroughly mix it with the soil. This practice increases the plant's ability to set pods.
