The feed given to goats can generally be divided into two categories, one is solid feed and the other is roughage. Up to 5 kg of grass and leaves can be given to a goat as roughage. If goats are raised free, they will find the feed they need and eat it on their own, thereby providing the nutrients they need for their body. The body requires 3-5 liters of water for its functioning. Give a mineral salt mixture as needed. Give more mineral salt mixture to goats that are producing milk and to goats that are about to give birth. When fed, the feed provided contains all the necessary proteins, carbohydrates, fats, and nutrients. Up to 400 grams of such feed can be given to mature milking goats and up to 300 grams to non-milking goats per day. Grasses such as CO3 and CO4, and plantain leaves can be fed.
